o Fish Clothing & Jewelry Co. opened its first retail store in 1989 on Pensacola Beach. From the very beginning Go Fish has been a success on the Quietwater Beach Boardwalk. Go Fish Clothing & Jewelry Co. has always tried to carry items that were unique so that it was not "just another beach store." The imported women's clothing, silver jewelry, and wood, iron, and ceramic home furnishing and gift items became immensely popular. Visitors from out of state shopped at Go Fish on every visit to Pensacola Beach. Locals also frequented Go Fish.

rom 1989 to 1993, the Go Fish Company had only one store on the Boardwalk and, although it was doing quite well, there was a need for things other than what could be offered in the space that was available. In addition, customers constantly asked the question, "Where can we find a decent T-shirt or shoes, etc." Eventually another space became available and Go Fish T-shirt & Sole Co. opened for business in 1993, offering original design T-shirts, men's, women's, and children's sandals, sunglasses, watches, hats, beaded jewelry, beach toys, and a large assortment of souvenir items. Just like the clothing store before it, it has done well.

n April 1996, a third store was opened near the downtown area on 9th Avenue in Pensacola. This store, carried the same items as the original store on the Quietwater Beach Boardwalk. In addition, this location also served as the main office and warehouse for the Go Fish Company.

n June 1998, the very successful Go Fish Clothing & Jewelry Co. was sold to the current owners who have operated it in the same fashion as it has been operated for the previous ten years.

s we entered the new millennium, Go Fish Clothing & Jewelry Co. was presented with an opportunity to open a new store on Perdido Key, Florida. Realizing that we had number of customers who live on Perdido Key as well as Orange Beach, Gulf Shores, and Foley, and as far away as Daphne, Fairhope, Spanish Fort, and Mobile, we decided to expand our lines to the westernmost part of the Florida coast. After some lengthy remodeling, on May 26, 2000, Go Fish Clothing & Jewelry Co. opened its doors for business on Perdido Key, one mile east of the Florida/Alabama state line. The new store offers the same merchandise as is offered in both stores on the Pensacola Beach Boardwalk with the addition of teakwood furniture. Functional pieces such as chairs, benches, accent tables, armoires, etc. are available at the Go Fish store on Perdido Key.

n May, 2003, the owners of Go Fish traveled to Italy in order to expand it's line of merchandise. The stores now carry an extensive line of hand-made Italian ceramics imported directly from Palermo, Sicily. The brightly colored collection consists of ceramic and iron patio furniture, planters, large vases and platters, and a variety of clocks, bowls, and other functional pieces. Additionally, a visit to Florence resulted in the purchase of high-quality Italian leather handbags, wallets, briefcases, physician's bags, and jewelry boxes. The craftsmanship of these leather items cannot be equaled and will last for years.

nother product line we are excited about is our Kiss Me in the Garden Fragrances. We have selected the very mild, clean-scented Sea Garden. These products, which carry the Go Fish Clothing & Jewelry Co. name, became so popular in our stores that we couldn't keep the shelves stocked. Items such as body mist, hand lotion, bar soap, potpourri, body lotion, hand and foot scrub, and more are now available through our website.

nother opportunity presented itself in 2003 and the Go Fish Company decided to relocate its 9th Avenue store to the Cordova Mall area. On November 28, 2003, Go Fish Clothing & Jewelry Co. opened for business on Bayou Boulevard behind Chick-Fil-A in the Cordova Crossings strip shopping center. Cordova Crossings is situated directly across the parking lot from Dillards in Cordova Mall. This move will be more convenient for our customers in that area of town. Also in November, 2003, the main office and warehouse for the Go Fish Company were relocated to Fairfield Drive.
